The iui went well--stressful (it was an hour late, which isn't an issue medically, but not fun when you can't shake the thought that your increasing stress level is killing your eggs). During that tense hour, my husband and I began bickering, he blaming me for getting to the office on time, when we know that it's a madhouse on the weekends. Then I, in a super bitchy and (I must say) awesome move, began nonchalantly writing down everything he said. When he noticed, he was clearly pissed, but had to laugh, a little.
I am not innocent in the bickering--I might have loudly whispered "mother fucker" when yet another couple was called before us. Dude, if good behavior counts upstairs, we're so not getting pregnant.
But yes, the actual iui went well. We're both hopeful. Yesterday I pumped up the volume on the Youtube video for "Airplanes," and we danced, frat-style, in my living room. When it comes down to it, even if we sometimes cause scenes in waiting rooms, we love each other a hell of a lot.
Unrelated: I thought I should post this somewhere. Here's how the meds played out this cycle:
CD3-5 Gonal F 37.5 IU
CD6-10 Gonal F 75 IU
CD11 Ovidrel trigger
CD13 IUI
CD14-26: Prometrium inserts twice a day
CD26: HCG beta (i.e., pregnancy test)
Good luck!
