My BFF (and avid reader/supporter) shared last night that her adorable baby boy loves looking at/swatting at wind chimes. All very cute.
So I go into monitoring this morning, and guess what I'm staring at as I scoot my bare booty down the papered table? Some ugly-ass wooden wind chimes! Is the world mocking me? Do infertile women really need to look at something akin to a mobile as we get wanded? And why would you hang wind chimes where there isn't wind? I'm complaining, but know that I'm laughing as I type this. Gotta love some good irony.
Thank you for all your advice on my mystery fluid. The fluid was apparently reabsorbed by my body, and all looks well. The doctor believes it was the dregs of my period.
As far as the cycle, everything is on track.
Loving ICLW. Peace.
Aw, crap. There goes your Hannukah present! Kidding! I wonder what would be more appropriate dangling above your head? Sperm mobile?
ReplyDeleteI am also going through infertility. I have been in the battle of seven years. I have done it all....years of infertility treatments, IVF, 3 failed adoptions...and so on. It is one of the hardest things I have had to endure. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you and this journey. I found you just through blog hoping.
ReplyDeleteI have just started my own blog. It is not about my journey, or how to get pregnant, or all the methods out there. It is more about "keeping the hope" for you, others, me, and just anyone. It was started after a very long emotional blog on my family blog. someone read my blog and started a facebook group called "Keeping the hope for you." It was for my friends and family to keep the hope of me while I did not have the energy to do in myself. So hence my blog...http://keepingthehope4you.blogspot.com
That is what the blog is about...helping everyone and anyone who either wants to keep the hope for them or a love one. keep our spirits up while we ride with roller coaster. I hope you stop by. I would love your comments, ideas, and thoughts.
keeping the hope for you.....Amanda
When did they get windchimes - ugh, how tacky. Some stupid nurse probably thought it was necessary for them to put entertainment up on the ceiling. Most people are paying attention to the u/s screen, not some damn windchimes.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear the free flowing fluid is all gone :)
Here from ICLW (#91).
ReplyDeleteWindchimes = totally tacky. I'm guessing the office wasn't decorated by an Infertile.
Good luck this IUI cycle!
Here from ICLW.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, wind chimes inside? That's just odd...
Good luck!!
Hahaha, I seriously just laughed out loud at the visual that came in my head.
ReplyDeleteWay to keep a sense of humor. It's the best medicine. Too bad it doesn't make us fertile. :-)

I have noticed that the "decor" in a lot of doctor's offices is lacking. You should steal the wind chimes next time.
