Yesterday I found out that another coworker was pregnant, also due in April. She and I haven't had much contact over the last two years, but in a department of about 70, everyone knows everyone. I mean, we all use the same disgusting fridge.
Today she came over to talk to me. When I asked her due date, she gave the caveat it's April 15th by the wheel, but she knows that's off because she was pregnant via IUI. I gave my new friend a fist bump and said, "Me too, sister!" Turns out we went to the same practice, which isn't a huge coincidence given that it's the biggest in the area.
Anyway, it's good to have a kindred spirit in the office.
Its a little bit like running into someone who also speaks your native tongue. :)
