Yesterday we had our 28-week ultrasound and doctor's appointment, and our baby is completely normal. The CPC is resolved, and everything else checks out, most importantly her heart and her size. We're so happy and relieved.
We celebrated by going to IHOP for lunch before the doctor's appointment. We had a good time, trying all the different, unlabeled things of syrup, relaxing, celebrating. Here's some trivia: My parents got engaged at an IHOP :)
The tech estimated the baby's weight at 2 lb 15 oz, which puts her in the 59th percentile for weight. It's just so crazy, knowing personally many healthy kids who were born weighing less than that. It definitely puts my mind at ease.
Life is good.
Bobby weighed about that when he was born at 27w5d (Maya was 2lb 5oz). So, that is great!!! They are both doing well, so I'm sure your little sunshine would be great if born now. This is wonderful news!!!
